On October 5, I will be running a leg of the Maine Marathon Relay with Honan's Heroes, one of the many teams participating as part of the Marr Fund Team. Established by the Marr family, the Josephine and John Marr Alzheimer's Research Fund directly supports novel and early-stage research aimed at preventing Alzheimer's disease.

The Marr Fund team has already made a great impact on furthering Alzheimer?s prevention research, most notably raising more than $2.85 million through the Maine Marathon event, and serving as a catalyst for many millions in additional support. What an incredible effort to be a part of!
