Newell, Heather, Christopher's and Abby's Fund raising page

Newell and I have both been first-hand witnesses to the devastation of Alzheimers. Newell recently lost his grandmother and uncle to the disease. My father currently has Alzheimer's. My paternal grandmother died of Alzheimer's. We all need hope and the type of research supported by the Marr fund at Brigham and Women's.
On October 3, the Marr Fund Team will participate in the 2021 Maine Marathon. Family and friends can run or walk in person or virtually to support the Josephine and John Marr Alzheimer’s Research Fund at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Newell, Christopher, and I are running as a team and are joined by the fabulous Abigail Diaz.
In seven years, the Marr Fund team has already made a great impact on furthering Alzheimer’s prevention research, most notably raising over $1.3 million through the Maine Marathon event itself and serving as a catalyst for a separate $25 million gift from visionary philanthropists Andrew and Kate Davis and the Shelby Cullom Davis Charitable Fund.
Thank you for joining us in this fight to prevent Alzheimer’s. Together we can make a difference—now and for future generations.
