5 Down, 1 to Go – The Boston Marathon Awaits!

Over the past few years, I’ve embarked on an incredible journey—one that has taken me across the globe, running 5 out of the 6 Abbott World Marathon Majors. From New York to Berlin, Chicago to London, and Tokyo, I have pushed my limits, crossed finish lines, and embraced the unique spirit of each race.

Now, only one race remains—the Boston Marathon—a race that holds the deepest personal significance for me. And I need your support to make it happen.

Why This Marathon Matters So Much to Me

Boston isn’t just another race on the list. It’s personal.

Fourteen years ago, on May 11, 2010, my life changed forever at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. My wife and I were expecting our first daughter, Nuria, while I was a student at Harvard Business School. After a long and stressful labor, we welcomed our baby girl into the world—thanks to the extraordinary care, dedication, and compassion of the entire Brigham team.

From the pre-labor anxieties to the incredible support during delivery, and the careful monitoring in the hours that followed, the doctors, nurses, and staff at Brigham made sure we were in the best hands. I can never express enough gratitude for the way they guided us through one of the most defining moments of our lives.

Running for Brigham – Giving Back to Those Who Gave Us Everything

Now, it’s my turn to give back. By running the Boston Marathon for Brigham and Women’s Hospital, I hope to raise funds that will help other families experience the same world-class care that my family received.

Every step I take on Marathon Monday will be fueled by gratitude, determination, and the desire to support this incredible hospital. But I can’t do it alone—I need your help!
