Kristen’s Boston Marathon Fundraiser

Take 2! One more time, I’m running the Boston Marathon this spring and fundraising for the Brigham & Women’s Hospital Trauma Research Center with Team Stepping Strong. Last year was an amazing experience, and I am thrilled to have the chance to do it again.
This year I have pushed my fundraising goal to $10,000. I greatly appreciate any support you can offer towards my goal, which all goes to help BWH continue to make strides in the field of trauma recovery. Having your support behind me was a great help through some tough miles last year! If your company offers a match on donations, please consider using that to boost your support.
I had several great years working at BWH, where I was able to see first hand the work they do to bring health and hope to our communities. The trauma research initiative was a direct response to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing event, recognizing how quickly lives can suddenly change.
The BWH Reny Center for Trauma Innovation focuses on trauma innovation and injury prevention and intervention. The work includes educating the public on evidence-based interventions to prevent injuries from ever occurring, funding research that will revolutionize trauma care, and advancing patient recovery to improve quality of life and long-term outcomes. Research findings extend to improve care in many other disciplines. Through each stage of prevention, treatment, and recovery, the Center remains committed to fueling research, advancing education, building community, and inspiring advocacy. This year's team goal is $1.7million. Your contribution will help improve the lives of countless military and civilian patients and support groundbreaking medical advancements.
Thank you for considering my campaign. Every dollar donated is very much appreciated!
