My Fundraising Page
This year my father suffered a major work accident. He was electrocuted, fell underneath a pipe, and was injured. He was super lucky that a group of workers were nearby and witnessed what had happened. They ran over to my dad, rescued him, and got him the emergency services he needed. Recently, he underwent a total knee replacement at Brigham and Women’s and is in recovery. Throughout this process, it has been hard seeing him struggle. However, I am grateful that he has the resources he needs to support himself during this time. While running 26.2 miles can be scary, I am willing to push through the fear in order to help those in need. I am running for those who can’t, for those who are struggling after a traumatic incident, and for those who need financial support. I have never ran farther than a 5k and have a $10,000 fundraising commitment. Every dollar donated goes towards making someone’s tragedy more bearable. If you feel called to donate I would greatly appreciate it, but if you cannot, sharing this post goes a long way.
From start to finish,
