I am excited to join the Stepping Strong team for the 2026 Boston Marathon raising money to support trauma patients. 

The Reny family established The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in gratitude to the caregivers who saved their daughter Gillian’s life and limbs after the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. The Stepping Strong Center aims to make a profound difference for trauma patients and their families worldwide by fueling innovation across the continuum of trauma care from prevention to treatment and recovery.

While I thankfully have not experienced a traumatic injury myself, I have been receiving care at the Crohn's and Colitis Center at The Brigham for over 10 years and am so appreciative of the exceptional care I have received there. I am honored to have an avenue to support the great people and teams at The Brigham so others can experience the same level of care and compassion.
