Why I'm Running with Brigham and Women's Hospital
Brigham and Women’s Hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s where my mom began her cancer treatment journey - where we first felt a sense of hope, compassion, and unwavering care. From the doctors who guided us with empathy to the nurses who made us feel like family, the Brigham showed us what true healing looks like - both medically and emotionally.
Although my mom ultimately lost her battle, the care she received at Brigham and Women’s set the tone for everything that followed in her journey. It was there that we learned the power of resilience, humanity, and innovation in medicine.
Running for the Stepping Strong Boston Marathon Team is my way of honoring both my mom’s legacy and those who have faced life-altering injuries. Every mile I run and every dollar raised helps fuel groundbreaking research, advance trauma care, and provide hope to patients and families when they need it most.
Thank you for helping me carry my mom’s spirit forward - and for standing behind a cause that turns pain into purpose, and tragedy into strength.
