Michelle Runs Boston
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the Boston Marathon. I grew up just a block from Commonwealth Avenue, which meant that every year on the third Monday in April, my family, friends, and I would walk up the street to cheer on the runners as they made their way toward Heartbreak Hill. To me, they were superheroes — and I always dreamed of being among them someday.
That dream becomes reality on April 20, 2026. I'm honored to be running the Boston Marathon on behalf of The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The Stepping Strong Center brings together healthcare professionals, policymakers, and community members to revolutionize trauma care and help rebuild lives. It’s a cause that embodies the Boston Strong spirit that continues to define our city today.
