Natalia's Fundraising Page - My Boston Marathon Running With Purpose
I am a breast cancer survivor who started running marathons in 2017, on the 10th anniversary of my diagnosis. I ran my first race to celebrate life and raise money for charity—and since then, every marathon I’ve completed (New York, Berlin, Chicago, and London) has been dedicated to a cause.
On summer of 2024, I lost my husband—the reason I began running—and I promised myself I would finish all six Abbott World Marathon Majors in his honor. Boston, on April 20th, will be my sixth and final star. Running is more than a sport for me; it is my way of honoring life, resilience, and the people I love.
This year, I’m raising funds for the Stepping Strong Boston Marathon Team, a cause deeply connected to my journey. The Stepping Strong Center transforms trauma into healing and hope, fueling research, advancing trauma care, and supporting survivors. As a solely philanthropically funded center, they rely on donations to sustain their life-changing work.
Thank you for supporting this extraordinary community of runners and for helping carry forward the Boston Strong spirit that continues to define our city.Learn more at www.bwhsteppingstrong.org.
Your gift—of any size—helps turn tragedy into hope and reminds survivors that they are never alone.
Thank you for supporting my run and this incredible mission.
