This April, I am honored to run the Boston Marathon as part of the Brigham and Women's Hospital Stepping Strong Marathon Team.
Throughout my residency, I’ve cared for patients whose biggest wish was simply to walk again, or return to their lives after devastating injury. Their resilience carried me through my own difficult moments and taught me to cherish every step I’m able to take.
As I finish my training, I’m running to honor them and to give back to the community that shaped me. By supporting trauma innovation at the Stepping Strong Center, I hope to help future patients find strength, healing, and hope.
