The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation aims to catalyze trauma innovation for injured civilians and military heroes through multidisciplinary investigative collaborations across the continuum of trauma care, from prevention to treatment and recovery.
My Fiancé is my main inspiration for wanting to support this incredible cause. My Fiancé is a 100% Permanently and totally disabled veteran who through his service experienced traumatic injuries that continue to affect both his life and our life. Beyond the physical I can also see the psychological affects that traumatic injuries can have on both our veterans and civilians who experience these traumas. My fiancé is truly my why and I would like to cross the finish line for both of us. I want to run for Stepping Strong to further improve research and outcomes for those who experience these traumas specifically for our veterans.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT !!!!

- More than $2 trillion per year is spent on decreased productivity, work loss, and medical costs due to traumatic injuries.
- Despite the significant burden of trauma, less than 2% of federal funding is allocated toward trauma research, inhibiting our ability to understand how to prevent, treat, and improve recovery from traumatic injury.
