My Fundraising Page
Hi!!
I'm proud to be running the 2025 Boston Marathon in support of the Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation at Brigham and Women's Hospital—a cause deeply meaningful to me as a Boston native born at the Brigham. Growing up here, I’ve been incredibly grateful to call a city home that leads the way in pioneering healthcare and accessibility for all.
The tragic events of the 2013 Boston Marathon were felt across our community, and they marked a transformative moment for Massachusetts. Amid the chaos, the team at Brigham and Women's Hospital worked tirelessly to save lives, including that of Gillian Reny, who was a high school senior at the time. Gillian and I actually attended the same high school, and her journey of recovery and resilience has had a profound impact on me. In honor of the extraordinary care she received, her family founded the Stepping Strong Center to push forward trauma care innovation, helping trauma survivors not only survive but thrive.
Trauma remains a global epidemic, and despite its impact, it receives a fraction of the federal funding allocated to other health crises. Through my participation in the Boston Marathon, I’m joining the Brigham’s Stepping Strong Team to help fuel vital research and innovation, transforming trauma care and giving survivors around the world renewed hope and resilience.
Thank you for supporting my journey, Stepping Strong's mission, and the spirit of Boston! Together, we can make a difference for trauma survivors everywhere.
