On the afternoon of Saturday, October 21, our Bentley University women's volleyball team will hold its annual "Dig Lavender" Night when we host American International College at 1:00 PM.

Lavender is the color ribbon for all rare cancers that don't have their own, including Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma that the late and legendary Bentley volleyball coach, Sandy Hoffman, fought courageously until her passing August 31, 2015. Funding for rare cancer research is very limited and there are few doctors who care for such uncommon diseases. There is a team of doctors who are working hard to find effective new treatments for this disease. All funds raised on Saturday will go directly to Brigham and Women's Adrenal Fund supporting the research of Dr. Anand Vaidy.
