Radiate Positivity- Pediatric Radiation Oncology
Few know that in the lower level of Brigham and Women’s Hospital there are little warriors fighting their biggest battles every day. Brigham and Women’s Radiation Oncology department is one of the places that pediatric cancer patients receive their radiation treatment here in Boston. Families not only travel within the United States to get treated here, but uproot their lives across the world to bring their children to Boston for the best care. Many parents have to stop working to assist in their children’s daily care, pediatric patients miss out on going to school, birthday parties, the playground, and other countless activities involved in one’s childhood. Your generous donations will help provide: gas assistance for families traveling a long distance to and from the hospital for daily radiation treatments, grocery cards to aid in times of need, fun toys and prizes for children undergoing radiation, special gifts for pediatric patients on their final day of treatment, arts and crafts supplies in the playroom while waiting for treatment, and so much more. Thank you for “radiating” positivity to our tiny hero's.
