Military and Veterans Initiatives
Today’s healthcare workers of both the civilian and military sectors face volatile, complex, and ambiguous environments; and both share a commitment to the mission of service.
To effectively address the pressing issues in healthcare today, there is a crucial need for seamless collaboration and knowledge exchange between civilian and military medical sectors.
Our new Mass General Brigham Military and Veterans Initiative aims to solve military, veterans, and their families’ greatest medical challenges and translate solutions to MGB patients and the public. Establishing strategic collaborations between Mass General Brigham, a Harvard Medical School Affiliated Healthcare System and the US Department of Defense will accelerate the development, validation, and scaling of research-driven innovations to address unmet areas of need across all aspects of military and civilian healthcare delivery.
Our initiative is structured around three core pillars: pioneering research initiatives, comprehensive educational programs, and robust support systems to empower veterans in pursuing meaningful careers in healthcare.
We express our heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable support in advancing the mission of the Mass General Brigham Military and Veterans Initiative. Together, we can leverage the transformative power of research, education, and employment opportunities to enhance the lives of those who have served our nation and their families.
