The Center for Surgery and Public Health is running the 2024 B.A.A. 10K as team Heal Ukraine. We are supporting the work of our colleague Dr. Nelya Melnitchouk, and our goal is to improve cancer and trauma care in Ukraine. These efforts focus on physician and patient education in the Ukrainian language that is evidence-based, created by experts, and made available through an open access online educational platform. We facilitate free peer-to-peer consultations for physicians in Ukraine on a variety of medical conditions. This work will assist with the training of frontline workers responding to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
