Update to my update: Friends and family, I'm speechless. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Let's keep going so that more babies graduate from the NICU and get to go home.
Update: Wow! Friends and family, I'm so moved by your donations. Thank you all so much for your generosity! I'll keep increasing my goal as people continue to donate, because every dollar makes a difference and can help the life of a newborn.
Hi everyone,
I became a patient at Brigham and Women's in November of 2021. I was roughly 15 weeks pregnant at the time, and was experiencing a difficult pregnancy. We transferred our care to a team at Brigham and Women's the day before Thanksgiving.
On February 8, 2022, I was admitted to Brigham and Women's when my water broke at 25 weeks pregnant. I was supported by the best team of doctors, nurses, and social workers imaginable. Unfortunately, our son, Ollie, did not survive birth. Despite that, I feel I received the best care that I could possibly have asked for.
I am raising funds for the NICU Friends of BWH in the hopes that fewer families experience a loss similar to the one we experienced.
Thank you,
Jess, George, and Ollie
