The Center for Surgery and Public Health is running the 2022 B.A.A. 10k as team Heal Ukraine.

Heal Ukraine is an effort organized by Dr. Nelya Melnitchouk, a BWH physician originally from Ukraine, to improve cancer and trauma care in Ukraine. Heal Ukraine focuses on physician and patient education in the Ukrainian language that is evidence-based, created by experts, and available through an open-access online educational platform. Heal Ukraine facilitates free peer-to-peer consultations for physicians in Ukraine on a variety of medical conditions, including injuries and other wartime health concerns.
