Genomes2People Running4Research

Please join us in supporting our team! We'll do the running, but you can help us cross the finish line! Simply click the name of a runner on the right to donate. You can also read a bit about each runner and what motivates them to run for G2P.

One of the most important aspects of our Genomes2People research program is our peopleBecause we strongly believe in the work we're doing, and because we love to bond outside of the office, we have established the "Genomes2People Running4Research" team of eleven runners who will hit the streets and run the Boston Athletics Association 10K with a goal of raising $10k for our research.

Your support will help fund new and innovative projects that accelerate the implementation of genomic medicine and the promise of precision health. Through rigorous scientific research, we are establishing a foundation of evidence for genomic medicine that will accelerate the adoption of novel genomics-based technologies and hasten the day when illness is not just treated, but prevented.

Contributions like yours enable us to explore ideas that are more creative and daring than conventional funding would allow, and support training for the next generation of genetics providers and researchers through our robust mentorship program.

“The ultimate benefits of genomic sequencing are no less than the transformation of medicine itself from a reactive enterprise of treating patients who are already ill to a proactive enterprise of preventing illness before it occurs.”

— Robert C. Green, MD
