I am proud to be running the BAA 10k for the BWH Bone to Run team, which is part of the department of Orthopedic Surgery. Not only am I a witness to the incredible work and research that they do each day as an orthopedic researcher myself, but I believe in the work that they are doing. Team Bone to Run is raising money to continue research for Women's Sports Medicine, a field that deserves way more attention and resources than it has.

Being an athlete has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and after having the opportunity to be a collegiate softball player, I have traded in my cleats for running shoes! Since graduating one year ago, I have run one half marathon, and a 70.3 Ironman race. Looking forward to toeing the line and lacing up my running shoes once more for this important cause.
