On Sunday, June 22, I will run the 2025 Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A) 10K to raise crucial funds for ovarian and uterine cancer research at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. These cancers often don’t receive the attention or adequate funding they deserve, and with limited support from the NIH, it is leaving many essential research projects underfunded. This lack of funding hinders progress in understanding these cancers, which are often diagnosed too late and with limited treatment options.

Your generous contributions will directly support the innovative research being conducted by my wonderful colleagues within the pathology department at Brigham and Women’s, helping us make important breakthroughs in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of ovarian and uterine cancers. 

This year I’ll be running with a group of colleagues from the Brigham Pathology department (Path-letes), with a fundraising goal of $300. Thank you for your support and for your commitment to advancing life-saving science!
