Welcome to Alyssa Mulcahy's Personal Page

I am so proud to be running for The Brigham Cancer Fund in the B.A.A.10K this June!
As many of you know BWH has touched our lives in so many ways. From the birth of our babies, to our parents battles with cancer. The level of care we have always received there is unmatched. Every team we have encountered has been exceptional, and truly the most caring individuals you could ever expect to meet.
As many of you know, this past summer I lost my dad to brief battle with a very aggressive cancer. After his passing, I was really searching for a way to process all that we had just been through. I took up running as a way to get out of the house, put on some music, and honestly…check out. I never could have imagined how it would truly become the greatest form of therapy for me. My dad was a runner for most of my life, so getting out and doing something that he loved actually made me feel more present, and became a way for me to connect with him even after his passing.
I will forever be grateful for the most amazing care he received while in the care of the doctors and nurses at BWH, and I am so proud to represent this incredible team of runners. I hope that you will support this fund however you are able so that these incredible providers can continue to raise the bar in patient care, and someday we can find a cure!
