Rebecca Antonelli's fundraising page
I said goodbye to my grandfather for the last time when I was 7 years old. He would soon pass from Leukemia. Before he got sick, my grandfather was a joyful man who loved telling me silly stories and showing me his garden. He had made a living as a programmer, which turned out to be one of my passions as well. I’d give anything to ask him about his experiences and for a chance to truly know him, but he passed far too young. I lost my Aunt to uterine cancer when I was even younger, at just 4 years old. I never got to know her at all.
However, research and treatment has come a long way. My nana has beaten breast cancer several times, and my aunt beat colon cancer, which would not have been possible without all of the work that has been done to fight these diseases. Brigham and Women’s Hospital has done incredible work researching and treating cancer, which is among their many specialities. Every dollar raised will go toward saving lives and giving people more time with their family and loved ones. Please consider donating towards my fund and helping the cause!
