Hello!

I am running the Boston 10K to raise money for the Comprehensive Breast Care Center. Comprehensive Breast Evaluation Center focuses exclusively on breast health and breast cancers detection. Breast cancer research and early detection is something I am very passionate about and excited to raise money for. One in eight women will develop a form of breast cancer at some point, and early detection is the key to successful treatment. I am honored to support them through fundraising as well as spread the message about the importance of annual scans. 

Because of their exclusive focus on breast health, their offer an expertise available at only a few other centers nationwide. The entire team, including pathologists, radiologists, surgeons and nurses, specializes exclusively in diagnosing and treating breast disorders, particularly breast cancer, with the latest, most accurate and least invasive techniques available. 

As a new runner, I am excited to train and achieve this goal while also raising money for a foundation I am passionate about. I started running about one year ago to work on my endurance. Since then I have been committed to getting better and hitting new milestones. Running the Boston 10k is a very big deal for me and not long ago I wouldn't have been able to achieve it. Turning my new passion into a way to do good is super inspiring. I am glad to have this opportunity through Brigham and Women's, and I am happy to share my cause.
