I am running this 10K race in memory of my aunt, Bridgett Daza, who bravely fought breast cancer but was taken from us too soon. She was more than an aunt for me; she was a mother figure, my best friend, my confidant, and someone who I knew was always going to have my back no matter what. She was an incredible person, strong, loving, and full of life, and her journey has deeply inspired me to fight through anything life puts in front of me. This run is my way of honoring her legacy and supporting those who are still fighting.
