My Fundraising Page

Our 10K team, the Network Runners, is proud to support the Channing Division of Network Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) - a cornerstone of Mass General Brigham and a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. I’m running to support the future of the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS). As a former research assistant at the Channing Division of Network Medicine, I’ve seen firsthand the impact this work has had. Over the past five decades, NHS has shaped clinical guidelines, public health recommendations, and our understanding of how lifestyle influences everything from cancer to cognitive decline.
Until recently, the studies were primarily funded by the National Cancer Institute and other federal agencies. That support has now been withdrawn or is set to expire, with no clear path to renewal. Without new funding, we face the loss of irreplaceable data, biological samples, and the ability to answer critical questions about women’s health. I’m running with the Network Runners to raise awareness and funding to keep this work alive. With your help, we can honor the contributions of thousands of nurses by supporting the people, data, and science that carry their legacy forward.
