The Center for Surgery and Public Health is running the 2022 B.A.A. 10k as team Heal Ukraine. All money raised will go to the Global Medical Knowledge Alliance, led by CSPH faculty member Nelya Melnitchouk. Their goal is to improve cancer and trauma care in Ukraine. They focus on physician and patient education in the Ukrainian language that is evidence-based, created by experts and making it available through an open access online educational platform. They also facilitate free peer-to-peer consultations for physicians in Ukraine on variety of medical conditions. 

I'm running for people around the world who lack access to safe and timely medical care, and in support of the awesome clinicians who serve them! This is my 3rd year running the B.A.A 10k, and I'm recovering from an ankle injury sustained during last year's 10k. Here's to a better run this year!
