This will be my 8th year to participate in this event. I work for the Channing Division of Network Medicine (CDNM), a research-only division with approximately 250 employees. We help identify the causes and progression of various complex diseases using a broad and deep set of health information and biological samples collected from hundreds of thousands of people over many years from several research studies (such as the famous ‘Nurses' Health Study'). Our scientists combine this ‘Big Data’ with genetics and laboratory studies to better understand human diseases. Our aim is to develop new medicines and disease prevention strategies for patients.

Funds raised will be used to support pilot projects for our junior researchers.
